Record Noise generator plug in

I've been asked to see if I can track one down. Google gives me lots of
hits on how to get rid of it, but none on how to generate it

I haven't emptied my 'collector tank' on my record cleaner for ages - I
could probably draw you off a couple of pints of pops, clicks and suface
noise if you don't mind sorting through the fluff, dust, noggles and those
strangely long ginger hairs you get on charity shop vinyl.......
