what's your beef? Audiolab kit is high end - quality hifi. The 8000s was
the darling of hi-fi circles for a long time and it's a cracking amp.
You'd be hard pushed to find as flexible and sweet sounding an
integrated stereo amp these days.

what's your beef? Audiolab kit is high end - quality hifi. The 8000s was
the darling of hi-fi circles for a long time and it's a cracking amp.
You'd be hard pushed to find as flexible and sweet sounding an
integrated stereo amp these days.

Agreed. £900 was hardly a bargain buy though. The A sold for £400, and when
the S came out it was priced at £600 I think. I remember a series of price
rises, and thought it nudged £800 before Tag superceded it with their own
rehashed version.

All this is academic though, it's well worth its BIN price of £350. I'd not
sell my own for less.

Yeah great amp.. use one with the Ruarks. About £700 at the time.

Depends where he is, I guess, but that seems unlikely. However, I
doubt if the bids will exceed £300, so what does it matter?
