Kenwood DP 7090 remote

Help I need a remote for the above CD player. I only want to turn the
output volume up so I can hear it properly. Its running at -14db at
the moment. I think if I can get it into standby it will reset to 0db,
but can't seem to do it without the remote. Any ideas please. Tried a
couple of 4 in 1 type remotes got one to do something it will play and
open the drawer but thats all.
Not doing well this week with remotes as the Arcam amp I have will not
do anything with its remote either!!!! Dam.
