Default Polo with flat battery and no radio code..

Quick followup... I've just noticed that I have the spare
key set which has the unique lock number and three small
stickers on the back. One of them is a four digit number,
and I wondered if it might be the radio code. However, not
having the manual (wasn't there when we bought the car) I
don't know how to get the code into the radio. Am I way off
track here, or in with a chance of a happy Christmas?
Cheers...!

You could be way off, as I don't think these units have a code. Easiest
thing to check first would be the fuse, followed by taking the thing out and
checking voltages behind. (but watch out for the radio's built-in alarm
thing if it's got one)
