Default Removing Sony XR-3759 from Polo

(Checked thread from pervious post)

My wife's Polo had a new battery a couple of days ago, but
the Sony XR-3759 is dead. I've pressed the reset button and
checked the fuse, but no luck. I'm wondering if an in-line
fuse has blown, but can't see how to remove the main unit
from the dash to check. We bought the car 18 months ago and
while we have all the documentation, we don't have any tool
to help remove it.

A flat piece of metal about 6mm wide by 1.5mm deep will slide into two slots
at the top edge of the stereo to release the clips.

If you cant find something suitable then carefully undo all the little
screws and the front plastic bit will lift off allowing you to see the clips
and release them with a normal screwdriver.

You may find it easier to extract if you undo the glovebox so you can reach
behind it.
