Default Vectra ICE Install - Advice Please :-)

Hi All,

After writing off my Astra I'm now the proud owner of a shiny red vectra.
Only drawback is I now have to transfer my sound setup into this car.

At the moment I have a Pioneer H/U & Changer, a Pioneer input adaptor,
kenwood sub & amp and alpine components.

I was hoping to fit the changer in the glove box (no problems there), and
the amp and input adaptor behind the glovebox, but I'm just wondering if
there's clearance behind the glovebox for these (the amp's a KAC-626 so not
terribly big and the input adaptor's the size of 2 cigarette packets). If I
can get away with this how would it be best to secure the amp, I was
thinking of drilling 2 holes through the bulkhead (avoiding any pipes, etc!)
and bolting it, can anyone see any problems with this approach?

Also with the speakers there's no space in the back shelf to fit them (as in
the Astra) and as the rears are 2-way would it affect the sound if they were
fitted in the base of the back door, or is it worth getting a stealth shelf
and fitting them into that.

The car's a 1997 Vectra 1.6 LS 16v

Many thanks

Dan
