Does anyone have any info on this TT? I just bought one on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330072066100

Specifically, I was wondering if anyone had a user manual they could
email, or any tips/tricks.

Thanks

I have one of these, and all I can say is you won't need a manual.
Turn it on and it goes, turn it off and it stops. Mine has been giving
me excellent service for years now. It also came without a manual.
Mine does have a lid though - no idea where you could get one.

Likewise, there are no tips or tricks.

Cheers Don - I had a IIX a while ago and was quite pleased with it, and
gather the setup is much the same and as you say, pretty straightforward.

I've just received an email novella from someone in the States on the IV
- various bits about oil, PSUs (the one I've bought has a fried onboard
PSU), arms and arm boards, and levelling.

For the lid, apparently (according to one of the auction Qs) the IIX
will fit. And it's one of those cruel ironies that complete TTs tend to
go for not much more than arms alone, so I might just buy a IIX with a
Rega. Is the armboard on a IV the same 'tear drop' shape as the IIX, do
you know?

The arm board is a trapezium. Measuring the sides clockwise, starting
with the longest which runs down the right hand side, they are 24, 9,
25 and finally 15cm along the back edge (roughly, I couldn't get right
in with the tape).

I have an old SME3009 II on mine.

I'd appreciate it if you'd forward a copy of that email to

if you wouldn't mind.
