Default Car woofer for home theatre?

I noticed that Halfords are selling the Sony XS-L121P5 woofer
for 50 quid. Can't find the Thiele-Small parameters but it
seems comparable to the Peerless XLS 830500 (180 pounds),
Fs at 18 Hz or so, big Xmax and power handling.

Any opinions about using these car-stereo woofers as subs
now that Sky+ with optical digital output is available cheaply?

I use a 150W monoblock amp and a 12" JL audio subwoofer (sealed -- no
port). The combination works extremely well.

Looking at one, they appear to give no instructions about a suitable box,
and I'd have thought it a bit big for the parcel shelf. ;-)
