Default Car mp3 player - plugging in without face panel on head unit?

I've got a zen media player which i'm wanting to use in the car. I'm
after a new head unit to use with it but i don't really want to keep
having to plug in and remove the face panel when all i really need is
an aux-in on the head unit itself - so i can plug in and use the zen
display to decide on the tracks i want to play. Anyone know of such a
unit - that has the aux-in on the head unit itself, not the face
panel?

thanks!

If you're just looking for a unit with an aux input on the back, there
are loads of these - and more that you can connect an auxiliary input
adaptor to, converting the changer input into an aux in. If however
you want something to work without the head unit fascia in place,
AFAIK, nothing of this nature exists.

Yeah that's what i'm after - one that'll work without the fascia, so i
can just plug my zen in and play it. It's just that when you get in
your car it becomes a right pain having to plug in the sat nav (with
traffic connector) plug in the mobile phone, plug in the stereo fascia
then plug in the mp3 player. Sometimes life's just too complicated!!!

thanks for your thoughts Jon, i'm sure you're right (at the very least
i guess you'll need the fascia in there to turn the head unit on?!?)
