Default Speakers on an L-shaped bookshelf system - L/R crossover... ?

I have ordered this set of kit:

http://www.tivoliaudio.com/pradcmbo.htm

And will be putting it on this L-shaped bookshelf system:

http://www.blakespot.com/images/wallbookcases2.jpg

The primary listening point will be a couch that is about 4-5 feet in
front of the bookshelves, centered, facing away from the bookshelves.
The listener will be 1-2' beyond the cross-point of two speakers
sitting on the ends of the L's. It seems an odd thing, acoustically,
to have it this way.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
