KEF Cresta 2 replacements?
Have you considered a Transmission Line design, say driven by the Kef B139.
T-line speakers extend the bottom end often to below 25Hz. Here's a useful

In other words, the best option is the one where the impedance if of the
drivers and amp are matched? If so, what about using an amp that wants 4

OT - A question for the valve experts.
Not a valve expert, but i would think:
a) each heater would draw more current.
b) valve reliability would go down.
c) valve transfer characteristics would change slightly.

pink floyd pulse concert dvd?
Pink Floyd did a concert at Earls Court in ~1994 called Pulse, which
included the whole of the DSOTM as well as other classics. Does anyone know

jim, thanks for that, i thought it might be to do with phase and polar
patterns.
i guess a wide dispersion pattern flat over frequency, same signal coming
from 2 speakers would mimic similar sound...

When I listen to some speakers, the stereo imaging is amazing - you can
pinpoint each member of the band on the stage infront of you, yet other
speakers do not have this property.
