plug pda into usb socket?

i've got a pda with a load of songs on it. am i able to plug this into
a head unit with a usb socket and expect the head unit to play the
songs? would it require a certain directory structure?

i'm looking to replace my camper van stereo. i need -

- remote control
- aux input
- ipod input (or at least ability to upgrade to)
- about £100

i'm looking at the JVC KD-G521. this seems to cover...
