Advice for Car Player and Speakers
If you are looking at the Alpine 9871R unit (which I can't find for
less
than £89) then I would recommend looking at a Kenwood KDCW6537U. Good
quality unit with decent USB input, it may be at the top...

Yep spot on Ben, probably the speakers causing the problem now. First
thing to do is always replace the factory fitted radio, next is the
speakers or add a sub to give better sound. You could check...

You can get a 5 1/4 inch (13cm) speaker in the front if you already
have the pockets. There is a huge choice of 13 cm speakers so it's
really up to your budget, go for a coaxial not a dual cone....
