Help - Whick blanks to use with Panasonic CQRD472 ?

Hi all,
I have a Panasonic CQRD472 head unit that is advertised as being CD-R/RW
compatible.
However the blanks I currently have refuse to be read by the unit either
when a audio cd is cloned, or if individual tracks are recorded onto the
disc. Btw, the discs are Precision 80min's with a silver top and they play
fine on my home stereo.

Anyone have any experiance as to which discs work best with this head unit?
Any info on specific brands and/or dyes that work would be greatly
appreciated.

TIA

I'd suspect that the problem is with the burner. not the blanks. I'd
suggest that you try the blanks on another brand of burner (or two)
before taking any other steps.

Sorry, I mean the physical device that writes the CD.

hi, thanks for your response.
but what do you mean by "burner"? The physical cd-r writer on my pc, or the
burning software?

thanks!
