How to repair Grundig MCD36 CD Changer

Is it even worth repairing, or do I just junk the whole Grundig setup and get an in-dash CD player (I don't use tape)? So nobody knows then? Or is it because I am new, or have committed some kind of usenet crime or other? :-) I have tried Googling for this, but no joy - would appreciate any thoughts...
