Cheap front Speakers for 205? Kenwoods? Pioneers?
 

I was thinking of getting some Kenwoods (£19.99) or Pioneers (£24.99)
from Argos. Would this improve the sound?

I'd suspect not. 205 fronts sound pretty good as standard. The above
are also only dual cones, which may even be worse than standard, as a
lot of 205s had coaxes from new.

Thanks for your advice. I've actually been listening to a few CDs
tonight, and I've changed my mind about replacing them. Like you say,
the sound quality does seem to be pretty good. I think I just had the
volume too loud!

I think the speakers in mine must be coaxes, as I have noticed there
is good seperation between the bass and high-pitch stuff.
