Pioneer Part Number?
Hi
Can someone tell me the part number I need to order the flexible PCB that runs from the front panel to the main PCB on a KEH-P8400R I thought the part number was CNP-5444 but when it arrived, it was not the correct item. The section of the flexi-pcb that solders to the faceplate connector block was correct, but the other end of the cable had 8 large conductors on it. My radio requires 9 small conductors (the ninth is not connected). I am loathe to buy the service manual just to get the part number for one item! Alternatively, if anyone needs a CNP-5444 flexi-PCB and has the right one in stock - perhaps you might be willing to swap? Thanks, Steve |

Can no-one help me with this? I think the flexible cable breaking is probably the most common fault on Pioneer car radios. All I want it the part number :) Thanks! Steve |

Hello Steve. I have exactly the same problem. Did you finally find the part number? If you did, could you please tell me it? ... Hello Steve. I have exactly the same problem. Did you finally find the part number? If you did, could you please tell me it? Thanks! No, I never found out the part number. What I ended up doing was soldering the incorrect part I had ordered directly to the PCB. To do this, I broke off the plastic socket which left the pins exposed. I then soldered one pin to each of the conductors on the flexible cable. Steve |

Might be a bit late now, but when I replaced the cable in my dex-p88r, I used a company called Sema (based in Slough or Reading I think) and I got an exploded diagram with part numbers of them also. -- Vikash ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via RealCarAudio.com - The checkmate of the caraudio community. http://www.RealCarAudio.com Vikash's Profile: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/m...fo&userid=1174 View this thread: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/s...?threadid=3557 |

It's seme.co.uk if you contact them they can send you out an exploded diagram and you can then tell them the part you need from that. The flexible cord is CNP-4440 though it's difficult to solder it to the connector. I ordered one a while ago, I'm sure it was about £17 which is a bit over the top but it's a neccessary part so I had to pay. I had to get a friend who works in electronics to solder it. Hope this helps. -- chembleton ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via RealCarAudio.com - The checkmate of the caraudio community. http://www.RealCarAudio.com chembleton's Profile: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/m...fo&userid=2064 View this thread: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/s...?threadid=3557 |
