Seicento bass advice

Hi all,
I have just gone out and bought a new pram.... Just when I bought the car
we find that out :-) could I have bought a worse car for this situation?

Anyway, because of my sub, although a better design for the tiny car than most, I cannot
fit much in the boot.
The sub I built basically sits from left to right in the well of the boot,
this leaves just over half free, I can squash the pram in IF I take my sub
out.... no,no NO, this won't do....

Any ideas for designs/places that sell, new sub that either goes in the
boot or elsewhere, doesn't have to be loud, just fill in what the Sony
6x9's (virtually no bass) and farty little fronts won't/can't do.
Is there any way of getting better bass response from the 6x9's for
example?

I have a Sony 45x4 watt headunit, 300w stereo amp under drivers seat and a
cd changer on the back of the single back seat. I could do without that as
I'm thinking about replacing the head unit for an MP3 one.

Any ideas?

Tim
