Check out www.connects2.co.uk . They're about £60. I have one which might
work for the Vectra though which I no longer use. It's as new and is yours
for £30. I think its the DOPS002. It was from an Astra. It connects via the
unilink cable and has a headphone jack type plug for the steering controls.
If your deck has these and it is listed on their site it should work fine.

Let me know if you're interested and i'll pass on my email address.

I'd suggest you speak to Connects2 (MES) before getting any display driver
for any of the Sony MP3 units. I think the ID3 tag causes no end of
problems. I know we've had all sorts of problems fitting them so as a
general rule of thumb if it has MP3 just do stalk controls.

Regards

Nick

Bradford, West yorkshire. Nick is right. It is worth checking if it will
work with your unit, to be sure. It was bought for an Astra with Trip
Computer function. My local dealer tried 3 different units, it was put down
to my deck being quite rare (CDX-C90R) and being somehow different in the
data communication. The reasaon i'm selling it is that it didn't work
properly with my deck in respect to the display (showed CD tracks but no
radio info, then showed nothing), although it was fine with other decks my
dealer tried when trying to find the fault.

If you want, you could buy it, try it out and if it doesn't work i'll take
it back off you and give your money back, no problem. If this means postage,
I would obviously let you take the risk on it and pay any charges yourself.
Worth calling connects 2...

Hi all,

Our display drivers were developed before Sony introduced the MP3
units. To support ID3 tags and folders Sony expanded their protocol.
Our display drivers do not understand these new commands and the
information is not displayed correctly when playing an MP3 disc.

We are currently car testing the re-designed display drivers for
Vauxhall and Renault (2000 on) which now support MP3 units and ID3
tags. These new display drivers should be available in the not too
distant future.

Regards

Neil
