Default Neo car jukebox

I have the mp3 neo jukebox player with a 40Gb disk in it and it's been fine
in previous car. But now in new car it seems to 'jump' in the middle of a
track at random times. I thought it might be a power issue, but even
conecting direct to car battery doesn't solve the problem. Anyone else
experienced this?
