Default Which MP3 Player?

I'm looking for a low priced mp3 player for the car. I've got a few in mind,
see list below. Has anyone any views on which of these, if any, I should go
for? Is any make better than the others?

Clarion DB538RMP
Kenwood KDCM4524G
Pioneer DEHP3500MP
Sony CDXMP40
Panasonic CQRDP383N

Thanks for any help and advice,

Stu.

I have a Sony CDX-MP40 in my motor, and I'm perfectly happy with it. Works
great, sounds good, and feels pretty well-made (like most Sony stuff).

Wouldn't have any trouble recommending it. Haven't used/seen any of the
others, so can't comment on them.

Cheers

I've got the Kenwood, and it's very good, fast seek times etc.

No problems here, but horses for courses really....

Peter Butler waffled on in a quite bewildering manner to produce...

I've also got the Kenwood, but I can't remember which model it is. It's an
MP3 one anyway, had it for a couple of years, plays virtually anything, but
does take some time to initially load a disc.

hi,
i just bought the kenwood4524.
i agree with the above that it is slow reading the disc when loaded
and sometimes shows TOC error.
Worth noting that the instructions say the unit can only play CD's
with compact disc digital audio, compact disc digital audio recordable
or compact disc digital audio rewritable.
the sound is superb and it is easy to navigate around, i like it.

I've just bought the panasonic 383, sounds great!! two things I've found
which could be annoying but only slightly... the blue display is a
little bright and cornering hard right can make it jump... otherwise I
love it... and just £105 delivered from www.incarexpress.co.uk
