Default Where to feed battery thru 4 Vectra

Hi

I need to feed a cable from the battery to my sub/amp Has anyone done
this for a Vectra, is there a hole there already or will I need to make
one ?

Any help appreciated,

Russell

if the vectra is anything like the mk4 astra - you'll be drilling in
very tight spaces behind the glove compartment - not a nice job...will
require two people...one to drill and the other to keep an eye on
where the drill bit is goin to in the engine bay

i've got a 4AWG cable running to my boot install, a 8AWG going to my
HU and also the alarm fitters drilled another for my alarm...more
holes than swiss cheese!

make sure you seal up properly and 'wax oil' up too - just for good
measure

It is Possible. I did mine after a lot of head scratching...

i've got a 97 vectra.

with the bonnet up:

the battery on the right hand side.
remove the rubber seal (about a foot) holding down the plastic cover (enough to see underneath)(just lift a bit) which covers my air con filter.
look on the right hand side; there's a grommet which leads behind the glove box.

pop out the glove box, about 5 screws. and u have lots of room to work.

then route the cable as needed.

Hope this helps.

Mike
