Kenwood CD
 

Purchased a Kenwood KDC-C600 CD stacker with remote and FM modulator and it
all works except for sound output. It plays any selected track at start-up
but after about 10 seconds develops a flutter and static and then stops
sound output. After around a minute of silence it starts the whole process
again and will do this to the end of the CD.
Obviously a component overheating when current is applied which then kicks
in again after cooling down. (My interpretation which could be way out)
Does anyone have any experience of a similar problem or know what
component needs replacing?
