Default Goodmans GCE7007DAB

Hello, just bought a Goodmans GCE7007DAB for the car to replace the tape
deck in there. One of the main reasons I bought it (apart from being £99)
was that the website (http://www.goodmansdigital.co.uk/GCE7007.htm) says
that it has an aux. input. I wanted this so I could I could plug my mp3
player in. However when I opened it up I cannot see a socket anywhere and
the manual doesn't mention one. Am I just being stupid?
Cheers,
Andy

Not sure, but maybe a couple of spare pins on the ISO connector are used for
the Aux input - or are there phono connectors on the back of the unit?

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have the Goodmans MP3 player that
Halfords were selling over Xmas. I was wondering whether your head unit
has an irritating buzzing sound in the background of any playback (radio
or cd)?

Mine does, and although it stays at a constant level, it will only
completly disappear if the sound is turned down to zero. If I play the
music loud enough, it will drown out the buzzing.

I bought an interference suppressor and have hooked that up, but it made
no difference at all. Anyone have any ideas? I have a feeling that I
will have to put up with it, and am puttig it down to inferior
componebts in the Goodmans.

Previously, I had a Sony MD headunit, which worked fine - is the
Goodmans really that inferior? Does any other Goodmans HU have the same
buzzing noise? Anyone know how I can get rid of it?

TIA
