Rover 618 stereo upgrade

Hi

Need to upgrade mt headunit in my 618 R reg. I have been told that the 618
has iso connectors as standard. Before I remove the built in stereo , can
anyone confirm that if I buy a stereo with ISO connectors it will plug
straight in

Brian

Thanks

Next question.

The last stereo I fitted about 6 years ago , had its own metal surround that
the unit clicked into. Would I have to install that as well , or will the
one I have in the car be ok.

You'll need to fit the cage supplied with the new unit.
