Default Removing Radio from my Scenic

Yes, those two holes in the facia are for special radio removal pins.

I have a year old Scenic which when bought only had a radio cassette
fitted.

I have just obtained the correct Renault CD player which I want to
replace the cassette with. I have removed the fuse and now want to
remove the cassette player which I will then replace with the CD
player.

However, my problem is I can't get the bloody radio cassette out! Can
anyone tell me the 'knack' of removing the damn thing?!

Any assistance would be gratefully recieved.

Many thanks - Tom

Hmmm, I took two lengths of welding rod, bent them over, and used those.
