www.alpine-usa.com - obviously US versions but the Euro ones will almost
certainly be the same with the addition of RDS, and DAB support instead
of XM.

I'm also after the 9835

I have an 2003 Mk4 Astra which I would like to know would this stereo make
use of the in-car display console as well as it's own?

Another question I would have is, would this also connect upto my steering
wheel controls or would I need a interface? ps : I noticed in the specs it
says "OEM Steering control output" so does this mean I need a adaptor or
what?

Thats what I thought. I got the specs for both HU's from the alpine site and
compared everything and the only difference that I could see was the
display. Just seemed a lot of price difference for a display. Anyway on the
theory that it was just the display I've purchased the 9833.
