Recs for sub £200 headunit

Looking for a recommendation or 2 for CD/Radio unit for my car.
Criteria are
- £200 or thereabout.
- Radio with RDS and traffic announcments
- Play MP3's
- Able to display MP3 titles etc.
- Ease of use e.g. easy to find a particular album
- Don't need all the preout stuff

Not sure whether to make sure it plays WMA files. I haven't ripped any of
my CDs so I will be starting from scratch anyway.

Was considering one of the Sony range e.g. CDX-F5700 but not sure it has
anything over a cheaper model (CDX-R3000). Or is it missing anything that
a better model would give? What is "Custom File Control"?

I originally was looking at Panasonic and Kenwood but I believe these have
a fold down mechanism which uses a ribbon cable connector. My current unit (a
Pioneer) has this and it has failed me. To me, the ribbon cable system will
eventually wear out so was trying to avoid it.

Any suggestions to what is good/bad? Any obvious must have features?

Be careful what you buy - the cheaper MP3 unit is the CDX-R3300. The
CDX-R3000 is non-MP3!

Custom File is a user editable disc title memory facility. A lot of
the time, the unit has support for it, but only actually does it when
used in conjunction with a changer.

Personally, I'd get an Alpine CDE-9827R (or RM/RR/RB depending on your
colour preference). Decent sound quality, a rotary volume control and
a front CD loading slot, so nothing to wear out. Only real down point
is it's not got CD changer control.
