Default Using a JVC HU and changer with a Sony Unilink Cable. Possible?

Hi All,

Here's an interesting one for all you techies out there.

I've just bought a JVC KS-LH6R head unit and a JVC CH-X500 CD Changer,
unfortunately there is no connection lead for them.

I was wondering (after reading something somewhere, and having a look in
Halfords today) could I use the unilink cable from my 'old' Sony setup as it
looks to have the same connectors as the JVC kit?

I know there aren't any RCA leads for the JVC so I'm presuming everything
gets pushed through the one cable.

Is this a possible idea to save me the 30 odd quid that Halfords want for a
new 'JVC' cable??
