home burned CD OK in autochanger?
Have just bought a car with an in-dash 6CD autochanger and need advice on
CDs. In the past, I have burned music compilations to CDs with my computer at home but I heard a rumour that these homemade CDs can cause jams or failures in autochangers. Anyone got any knowledge or advice? All comment gratefully received Philip |

Anyone got any knowledge or advice? Some CD changers will refuse to play them. I don't think this is an issue with any new changers though. The old Kenwood ones didn't, for some reason. Still, I've never heard of a changer 'jamming' because of a CD-R - it will either play or it won't, but it should still come back out alright! Chris. All comment gratefully received Philip |
