Pioneer US / UK formats for car stereos??
 

Was just wondering if I was to order a Pioneer DEH-P9600MP Car CD Playe
from the states (ebay), would it work in my Irish ford puma?

Ive been told that the frequency gaps are twice as big so that I coul
only recieve 92.0, 92.2, 92.4, 92.6 and so on....

But I was just wondering is it odds or evens that you recieve o
them...so would it be:

a) Evens - 92.0, 92.2, 92.4, 92.6, 92.8

or

b) Odds - 92.1, 92.3, 92.5, 92.7, 92.9

Its the "even" frequencies that i'd be looking for mostl

im afraid the us radios skip the even frequencies so you get 91.1 91.3
91.5 etc. i got caught with an american radio (a keh-p8600mp) but i got a
band expander to shift the frequency up by 0.1 mhz, so 91.1 becomes 91.2.
but no RDS.
