Goodmans GCE 7340 MP3 - memory problem

I just installed this and it works fine except it forgets the date and all
presets when it it is switched off.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Sounds like you got no permanent live, or the 2 live feeds the wrong way
round. What car are you fitting it to? A Vauxhall?
