Renault Scenic (2000) upgrade head unit

I have recently bought a year 2000 Renault Megane Scenic and I'm looking
to fit a cd head unit.

The car has a steering wheel stalk remote control, and a dashboard display
wwhich currently lists the station number / rds info from the factory
fitted "Tuner List" tape / tuner head unit.

I'd like to be able to control the new cd head unit using the wheel stalk
controls, and it would also be nice to have the dashboard display working.

I've been looking at the Sony CDX-S2000 CD Tuner, just not sure how I
would fit this into the car.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I have a OEM (Factory) CD unit that will fit straight in without facia
adapter and will work the remote as long as your current stereo says "Tuner
List" on the bottom of the front.

Thanks for the reply. However I'm looking for a 3rd party head unit,
preferably one which does MP3s

However getting this to work with the remote display is major £££

so I'll probably just forgo the remote display + get a mp3 head unit +
remote control adaptor.
