Car radio problem
 

Can any one help, I have a fiat Brovo which has a radio built into the dash,
on a Saturday I listen to sport on AM but it seems to be picking up so
interference from my engine, sometimes it impossible to here it, other times
its not so bad, when its bad if I hit the brakes or flick my lights on it
becomes instantly perfect then the interference comes back again, I have no
problem with FM, so what seems to be the problem.

AM is more easily affected by interference .

As the problem is changed by switching on lights then I would check out the
car battery
and its charging circuit.

Check earth connections on the radio and the car battery.
