Cars with 'fitted' radios - can you change them ?
 

I'm just about to buy a Renault Megane Scenic and its got a Renault
non-standard size tape player fitted. (The type the are sort of part of
the dashboard).

Is it possible to replace this with a standard size car CD player?
(Even though its a different size etc). I was wondering if there are
adaptor cages available etc....

Yes there is. Halfords is probably your best bet
