Which Head Unit - Pioneer or Sony?
 

Hey all,

I'm trying to decide between two head units and would like to get your
opinion on which one is the better buy. I'm trying to decide between
the Pioneer DEH-P7700MP and the Sony CDX7700. I've always loved Sony
head units, I've had 2 of them in the past and i hear this is a nice
one. I've never really been a huge pioneer fan, however their new
range
seem to be really nice.

Pioneer:
Bit of confusion here, as the UK model looks like this:

I way perfer the US model, I could order it form there, but then the
radio frequencies would be different (can I get around it?)

Anyway, AFAIK, They are both very similar and do pretty much
everything
I need them to, so it almost comes down to cosmetics and personal
choice. When it comes to colour I'm not a fan of green, I love red,
but
i think (not sure) that the Pioneer can change colors, and looks
really
nice in blue...


Can anyone give me some input on these models if you have used them
and
+ and - points on both? They can both be got for about £180 - £200 +
P&P in the UK. And if you think there is anything better out there
for the money please let me know.br
