Palmtop (PDA) as a Phone + MP3 Player and Standard Vauxhall Omega Elite Audio Equipment
Hi,
I have the Vauxhall Omega Elite car with standard CCR 2006 Radio/Cassette/CD changer + BOSE audio equipment. CD changer does not work properly :( I have also a smartphone - that is o2 XDA IIs. I want to connect it to my existing stereo system to use it as an MP3 Player and a phone. I have studied Vauxhall service manual and some forums and now I have some questions as it is quite difficult to get technical information about certain devices :/ - is it possible to do that without removing audio device from the car? - PDA specific - is it possible to send a music signal through the same wires (connectors) as phone voice goes? would it work? - I can buy a craddle for my PDA that has TX and RX connectors - how does it relates to required connectors with "phone voice" and phone sending a signal that mutes the radio. - is it possible to get description of my PDA connector - what connectors are for what? and also for my audio device? ANY help will be great!! seb |
