Looking for ideal amp-only head unit
 

I'm looking for the ideal head unit after my Alpine
MP3/CDRW/ai.net/what-have-you-ready got stolen... I'm very willing to
take a very focused approach now, and if there is any, go for a
minimalistic-design-no-bells&whistles-amp-only head unit.
My requirements would be:
- aux-in ready, so I can have a jack input installed to play my
iPod/PC/Discman/etc
- nothing else for sources, no CD, cassette, radio, etc, just need the
audio-in (are there any head units that work as amp only?)
- decent design (I'm sick of those quirky multi-coloured flashing
lights), minimalist
- decent sound (best I've heard always been Alpine, but open to
alternate suggestions)

Is there anything out there that fits these requirements?
