Replacement control panel PCB for FIAT STilo car stereo?

An IKEA wardrobe flatpack slipped off the dashboard and gave the volume
knob a whack, pulling it from the (surface-mount) PCB. I've tried
soldering it back, but you know what surface-mounted PCB repairs are
like...

I think it will probably be easier to replace than repair. The bottom
left of the board reads:

FIAT 192 FRONT
VISTEON

The bottom right reads:
PWB9184
2FCF-14A608-AC

It's from a FIAT Stilo CD stereo, 2002.

Any suggestions on where I might find a replacement?

Thanks,

Daniele

If the encoder is still OK, then I'd say it looks pretty repairable to
me. The pads for the encoder have probably lifted, so you'll need to
araldite the encoder down and then solder fine wires from it's pins to
further along the tracks where they're still solid. You'll need to
scrape off the green solder-resist of course.

If the encoder itself is knackered, then RS or Farnell will probably
sell something vaguely suitable - i.e. :-

If you really can't fix it, then I guess one of those on-line
car-breaker agency type things should be able to get you a second-hand
stereo.

Cheers,

Colin.
