13cm Woofers/Subwoofers
Ok,
You can call me crazy crazy space But, i don't want to fit great big subwoofers and stuff to my car. Well, I'd have to chisel out various bits out of my 94 Nissan Primera, make custom brackets, and spend fortunes on making it all look nice, no, all I want is nice sensible drop in solutions. Flaming Nissan. 4x6inch speakers in the front, 5.25inch in the back, you can't do anything with em! My right rear keeps blowing too! It might be the guy who adjusted the JBL 75.4 amplifier, I don't know, but I followed the instructions, and everything else works, it's just the right rear keeps going. You can't find anything decently meaty for 4x6" or 5.25" speakers can you? most I found was I think 50w for the front on JBL Power Series, and 55w for the rear using JBL Power series (oh, all wattages just stated as RMS, with peak somewhere between 135 and 160). Incidentally, I have JBL speakers all round. Firstly, any idea why the right rear speaker keeps going? Also, I notice that the sound from the rears aren't as boomy an resonating as the rest. Is that because the speakers in the front are mounted in the door? The ones on the rear are actually in some kind of pansy flimsy metal bracket pointing upwards. Secondly, how do I get the sound to be better from the rear? Incidentally, full range speakers all round. But then I start thinking, can I get more bass out of the rear? So thirdly, is there such a thing as 13cm Woofers/Subwoofers? Ta Simon |
