Pioneer DEH-P544R Illumination Colour
Hi,
I've just dragged the above head unit out of a cupboard to replace the standard fit radio/CD in my Fabia. It's working fine, but I'm sure I remember that the illumination clour is switchable. I've lost the manual, so I got a dowlnloaded scanned manual from some dodgy website, but it doesn't mention it anywhere. Can anyone confirm or deny it, and if it is switchable, how? It's not in the setup menu. |

If the unit has dual illumination, the option should be in the menu that appears. Of course, I might not have been doing the right thing!. I seem to remember something obscure like holding down one of the number buttons while turning on, but it was a long time ago- I've just realised that in all likelihood my wife bought it in 1998 or 1999, and the last time it was fitted was in 2003. The only thing I found on the web was someone asking the same question! http://clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8598 |

I'm still convinced that I did manage to change the colour years ago though. Anyone else got any ideas? |
