Sony HAR-LH500 and XP
Has anyone got the version of M-Crew that comes with the HAR-LH500 (V2.6E)
to work on XP? Mine works ok on a W98 laptop but on the XP machine it causes a reboot just after the title bar appears, just as the reading starts I guess. TIA Craig |

Mine works ok on a W98 laptop but on the XP machine it causes a reboot just after the title bar appears, just as the reading starts I guess. TIA Craig Yes, no problems with crashing. While it worked it was fine. My machine is fully service packed though, so that may be worth checking. I've also found (anecdotal, rather than properly tracked down) that some USB devices don't like other USB devices, so perhaps try it without any other USB stuff connected. However it did randomly corrupt most of the files on the HAR-LH500 without warning... Apparently the repaired machine is now ready for me to collect. -- Tim Hobbs '58 Series 2 '77 101FC Ambulance '95 Discovery V8i Barcoding? http://www.bartec-systems.com |
