HELP WITH VALUE OF MICROMEGA STAGE 6
"Alan The Braw" wrote in message ... Any one know what these cost when new? And what one in mint condition would be worth? thanks for any help kind regards a bain Alan, Micromega have not had a great time in UK, what with various distributors and a generally poor record for both reliability and repairs, so currently it's no surprise that no UK distributor wants to touch them. Most UK dealers have had trouble selling off their remaining stock (even at high discount), so the fact is that most products have seen their value drop steadily with time. The last distributor was based in Walton on Thames but went bust about 3-4 years ago, being left with a lot of faulty NEW stock, which they couldn't sell or get fixed. So, the sad fact is that IF it works OK now, then it might not carry on working well. And if it doesn't work well now, the chances of getting it fixed is remote. So, customers will not want to pay a lot for a brand that has had such a chequered history. (I know of one dealer who sent one item back to France and it came back UNREPAIRED after Micromega had charged them carriage and for the repair work). Best of luck, Thomas |
