Couldn't find a FS newsgroup but I know what a knowledgeable bunch you guys
are !!!

Can anyone tell me what original Frank Sinatra Album had SUMMER WIND
on it...........trying to track this down on CD.but not in a "greatest hits
" version. I have decided that I cant live without the intro ..so it looks
as if I'm going to have to buy it !

Intro? Summer Wind is on the My Way compilation, and it has and instrumental
intro - is that what you'r referring to?

Hans Bradtke, Heinz Meier (Henry Mayer), and John H. Mercer (1909-1976).
Published in 1965. The song was originally written in German: Mercer
translated Bradtke's lyrics. Sinatra recorded it in 1966, and it appeared on
the album Strangers In The Night.
