A Hi-Fi CD seperate which plays MP3
 

Hi there,

I'm in search of a Hi-FI CD seperate which also plays MP3 CDs. Is
there such a thing?
The nearest i can find is the Sony CDX-D400 which had a Minidisc
player thrown in.

Most DVD players will play MP3 CDs as well as Audio CDs. There's plenty of
online debate about how well they do it, but they are certainly useable even
if not up to the highest audio standards.

Cheers for info.

I know that dvd players can play MP3 disks but not quite what i'm
after. Something with a display on the player to know what MP3's you
are accessing would be nice.
I did see a player made by Terratec

The Cambridge Audio CD34/32/30? play mp3's. No idea if they are any good
though.

The new Marantz CD 7300 does play mp3's. So does a Meridian player.
Don't know whether those display the title, performer etc.
