Push-Pull ECL86's for output. Silicon diodes in PSU voltage doubler. Range of 6 plug-in adaptors were available to match various cartridges for LPs. (Hence you may need to check which one is present.) The standard was to supply two adaptors with the amp - one for mm, one for ceramic. So probably you'll have the standard mm one. FR 20 Hz - 20 kHz +/- 0.5dB (pre) +/- 2dB (power) THD 0.25% 1kHz 5 Watts, 0.8% 1kHz 10 Watts Hum+Noise -80dB below 10 Watts Outputs for 3-5 Ohm and 12-16 Ohm loads Valves 4 x ECL86 (power section), 3 x ECC807 (pre section) Diodes 2 x BY114 (Silicon) Radio 100mV 470kOhm Tape 600mV MM Disc (Standard) 3.8mV 68kOhm Most other stuff should be obvious - e.g. 5-pin DIN Tape socket on front that parallels tape sockets on back. I've had it running and thought it was quite nice sounding - not at all bad for 30 year old technology :-) probably go for around £100 |
