Default Advice on Replacement for Sennheiser HD 470

Hi,

My Sennheiser HD 470 headphones just broke. I'm now using a pair of HD 500,
but the sound just isn't as good compated to the 470. I can't find HD 470 in
any shops now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative model. I mainly use
these headphones on my PC, plugged into the headphone socket on the
speakers, and I believe I will need an impedance of 32 ohms (like the 470
and 500) to drive them effectively ? ( I stand to be corrected on this). I
am prepared to go upmarket a bit if I can get the sound of the HD 470 back.

Any suggestions ?

regards,

Neil
