FA SOUND CITY CUSTOM 50 AMP HEAD, EL34'S ON BOARD

This Amplifier has been demonstrated to me and I have seen an heard it
working into a VOX AC30 speaker which is the biggest I have at my home (
And the answer is Yes my club will be selling this speaker in the near
future ).


To give you a good view of the internals I removed the back cover to reveal
a pair of Mullard EL34's. Although the pictures are not brilliant you can
just see the heaters glowing on this pair.

When the amp was running I gave the EL34's a tap to see if could hear
anything on the output and I couldn't hear any rattles.

For an enterprising person this Valve Amplifier is a PA in itself but also
a source of hard to obtain spares for other amps and for your own amplifier
build projects.

I think ECC83 drive the EL34's but didn't check before it went to safe
storage.

This amp has a few scratches but as far as I can tell all looks original.
The back panel has had a name stencilled ,"Catch 22", across the back over a
previous name.
