Where can I buy a 2 way A/V switch?
Hi
I need a two way audio/visual switch (scart or composite + R/L audio) to connect a freeview box and a VCR to a TV that has only one A/V (SCART) input. Does such a thing exist and does anyone know where I can buy one? I'd prefer a manual rather than an auto switching one as an auto will be forever switching back and forth when vcr and digibox are both on. Thanks for any info Ian. |

Argos sell one that reputedly works with RGB etc. John Sims sells an automagical one for £50 and it should be pretty good. |

Look under A/V Splitters & Switchers. www.maplin.co.uk I'd prefer a manual rather than an auto switching one as an auto will be forever switching back and forth when vcr and digibox are both on. There might be a problem in that your Freeview box should be feeding RGB, but your VCR will only be composite. So you might want the auto RGB switching enabled. -- *Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. Dave Plowman London SW 12 RIP Acorn |
