Hum on tuner but only on radio4 and only some of the time?

Using my Magnum Dynalab tuner, is very nice.
But some of the time I have a hum

Its only on radio4 and only some of the time.

Has anyone any idea as to why this should happen

You might mention which transmitter, or if you don't know that what area
of the country and what frequency. Its not unknown for Tx's to develop
faults and it be somewhile before their corrected. R4 had an
intermittent problem in this area recently on the Peterbourgh
transmitter which also affected the Cambridge relay, kept cutting out
due to a duff NICAM decoder!...

One would have thought that on the countries most used TX's then they
would have noticed this. I was more thinking that you were on some small
local relay!.

However comments passed on to Crown Castle (as was)....
